Bringing local business people together to share ideas, find advice and support one another
Our local business networking events
Held on the last Friday of each month at 10am, our networking events are an opportunity for small business owners to meet each other face to face.
Set in the beautifully restored Dornoch Station, it’s a chance to get out of the office and catch-up with other members of your local business community in an informal and relaxed environment.
You can arrive when you want, stay for as long as you want and make as many new business contacts as you want.
We like to think of it as networking without the pressure!

What to expect
The warmest of welcomes and a friendly, informal atmosphere
Chance to meet and chat with other local business owners
A supportive environment where everyone is happy to share advice
and talk about their own business experiences
No pressure to present, provide referrals or attend every meeting
Great coffee, tea and biscuits!
Who should come along to our events?
Whether you’re an electrician or estate agent, photographer or personal trainer, HSBN is for you!
Our aim is simply to bring together like-minded local business people who want to meet others in the same boat, talk about their business experiences and build some great connections.
No profession is excluded, there is no limit on how many people from one profession can come along, and it also doesn’t matter where you are based.
Everyone is welcome!

What happens during the events?
When you come along to one of our networking events, you’ll be welcomed by one of the HSBN team, shown where the coffee and biscuits are and introduced to some of the other attendees.
If you would like to be introduced to more guests, just let us know, but you’ll soon find everyone is really friendly and happy to chat.
At roughly 11am, there will be a short announcement section and you’ll find out who else is there to help you build some more connections. You’ll then have chance to catch up with anyone else you want to have a chat with.

FAQ
